Beyond The World Plan

"In depth of forest, we can hear sound of a boar cry to intimidate his enemy and a girl facing the boar with bow in her hands. She has a resolute eyes spark in them clearly. They are currently on face to face battle. Welcome guys with me, Ray and we are wathing the battle between Cecilya and a wild boar. The battle about to begin and I hope you enjoy the show."

"Ehm.... Ray, I wonder if you have a mental sickness in you. I mean, to who you are talking about?" (Beelzebub)

"Well, I don't know. I just thinking that someone must do the narration for this. It will make this become more interisting to watch. I also thinking about doing a live commentary."

"*Sigh* You really sick." (Beelzebub)

Beelz put her hand on her forehead thanks to me. We are currently sitting on a tree branch watching over Cecil from distance. If you are wondering why I know her actions, the answer is I can see her clearly thanks to my <Spirit's Eye>. And because of that, I am happy because I have someone to talk with.

"Is there anything wrong? I just want to have some fun watching here."

"Do you think it's fun watching people suffer in front of your eyes?" (Beelzebub)

I stare at her blankly at her words. It's unexpected to hear that from Beelz herself.

"Wh-what?" (Beelzebub)

She looking at me back with an poker face. I regain myself and answer her.

"Well, it's just sound weird hearing something like that from you."

"What's wrong with it?" (Beelzebub)

I immediately grin to her.

"You know, I just remember someone that want me to fell in despair and want to take an advantage from it."

"Ugh..." (Beelzebub)

She startled with my answer, her body move back in shock because of that.

"We-well, you know...it's not like I happy looking people desperate or something like that." (Beelzebub)

"So, you have made many people suffering in the past not for your fun?"

"Y-yeah!" (Beelzebub)

She quickly agree with my statement.

"No need to lie, I can see through it. Even I know that you are waiting for a chance to take control of me. It's still early but I must say sorry because that will not gonna happen."

With a sharp gaze I throw to her, she jumped back with full guard to me. Sweat running through her body because of her nervousness. I just giggle and look back at Cecil's fight.

"Your face saying 'how can you know that?' and hearing me now you are thinking that 'did he has the power to read mind?' or something similar with that. My answer is simple, I can see through your lie. Not only that, even your speech, gesture, and your character can easily been read by me. To tell you a fact, you are the easiest person for me to read."

Cecil manage to dodge the boar attack by sliding to the left of the boar. She stretched her bow and release the arrow. Just now, she enchant it with magic so the arrow manage to cut through his head. With that, she make the ten. It's about time for me to get down.

"Wait!" (Beelzebub)

Beelz stop me the moment I want to jump down.

"How long do you know about this?" (Beelzebub)

"The moment you were talking about the contract, I already knew it's a lie."

She looks pale, not throwing any other words to me.

"But at least, the tear you made that time is not a fake. In fact, I really happy when I saw that."

With a smile, I telling it to her. I jump down the tree because I do not want Cecil waiting too long.

"I hope you remain like that moment. I like that side of you the most."

Leaving her stand still at that place, I manage to land on the ground smoothly. Cecil with her panting breath smile bright at me. I unconciously put my hand on her head.

"You have work hard today, you did well. We will rest here tonight."

She answer with small 'Yeah' while moving her head left and right. I just smile to her and rub her head gently.

Sun has set and the night has come. We currently sitting next to each other while eating the grilled boar meat. I enjoying the scenery of night forest while staring at the fire.

Almost seven years has past from that incident and the moment where all the weird stuff appearing in my head. Something that this world suppose do not have, it's in my brain now. Many knowledge appearing one by one as the time goes on. Those stuff make me recall some of memory that's not mine. Thanks to them, I have my way here, aiming myself to make a workd where every races co-existed become a common sense.

"Master, is there something wrong?" (Cecilya)

Breaking the silent, Cecil ask me in worry. I look at her call with a wry smile.

"Nothing, it's just...I suddenly remember about my past."

"It's pretty hard to forget something terrible, right?" (Cecilya)

She reply me with sad expression. Looking at her, I understand that my state make her remember about her past too.

"Yeah but still, past is a past. All we can do is living on the future that unknown. Whether is good or bad, it's all back on our decision."

Finishing my dinner, I stand up and clean around the tent, make a barrier so there will be no monster attack when we sleep and back to where I sit before.

"Ehm.... Master, can I ask you why you are giving me the test?" (Cecilya)

"I already told you, right? It's to reshape your ability."

"Sorry for being rude master but, you have other reason, right?" (Cecilya)

I silent for a moment stare at her face. I smile to her wryly as she ask me like that. The question must be answered honestly and that's my motto. I can't go against my own principle.

"Well...yeah, there's another. I want to see how you are fighting and understand your fighting style. I want to suit your style with our party. I need to make some strategies using your strengths and at the same time cover your weaknesses. Threrefore, you should learn about your own strengths and weaknesses too so you know your own limit."

She look at me full of amaze in my word.

"So that was it. I understand master, I will not fail you. Give me another tasks tomorrow and I will finish it without fail." (Cecilya)

She suddenly got fired up. Well that's good though. I pat her head gently and her face blushing in light red.

"Well, that's good. Better you go to sleep to make sure your condition perfect for tomorrow."

"Yes master!" (Cecilya)

She hurriedly go to tent and sleep, leaving me alone with the sound of night. Oh wait, I am not alone though. Beelz come out from my shadow and stand silently next to me.

"Is there anything you want?"

I ask Beelz but no answer come out from her. Her face full of regret from previous conversation. I sighing and begin to stand up. She startled and her body shaking. Seems like her pride is broken because I unfold her aim out of nowhere. I looking at her face but she hurriedly stare at the ground. I move my hand, put on her chin and lift her head and make her eyes look at me.

"Listen, I not angry because of your act so you can relax and you can say anything you want, I won't angry."

Her eyes starting to wet and she is sobbing hearing that.

"Really?" (Beelzebub)

"Yeah."

"Hwaaaaaaa...." (Beelzebub)

She put her head to my body, hugging me and crying loudly. No one can hear her crying beside me here. She is a spirit, an existence that can not be seen nor interact if you do not have the ability. Weird for me because even though I do not have the ability but I can interact with them. This is some of mystery that I still not have the answer.

I gently hug her back and if someone sees me right now, they will think that I am a weirdo.

"*Sob* I am sorry for trying deceiving you. Like you said *sob*, I like seeing someon desperate. That's how my life along this time. When you *sob* knew about my plan...saying you would never fall to it, I do not know what I will I do. I do not know how will I wll live from now.... Hwaaaa..." (Beelzebub)

I hug her, rub her hair gently, trying to comfort her while saying,

"There, there.... Don't worry, I am here."

After a long time, she finally calmed down. Still hugging her, I start to talking.

"Well, listen to me. You do not need to be afraid like that, you know I'm here. I not angry with you at all. Instead I am happy when you are honest like this. There is nothing to worry about your life, I will help you make a better living than you before. You can always be honest when you with me. I will listen to you no matter what happen. You also can rely on me and others too. You are not alone now, I will always be with you as long as I still alive. There, there.... No need to be afraid, I will always here for you."

Releasing my arm from her back, she wipe her tears and looking at me.

"Really? You really will be with me?" (Beelzebub)

"Yeah, as long as I am alive, I will be with you."

Her tears flowing out again, not because of her sad, it's because her happiness.

"It's the first time for me hearing something like that, I'm so happy when you say that." (Beelzebub)

"And I like you when you be honest with yourself."

I smile to her when she is mumbling 'ehehehe' while blushing.

"Ray, can you close your eyes?" (Beelzebub)

I do not know what will happen but I nod to her. I close my eyes and suddenly, a sensation come to my lips. It's warm and soft touching my lips and I could not response to it. After a while, our lips separated from each other and I open my eyes in shock.

"This one is for real. I will be in your care from now on." (Beelzebub)

Touching my lips as I still not believe with just happen, I look into her and found out that she is saying the truth. I just stare at her blankly and saying the same thing as her.

"I will be in your care too."

She flying not too high from the ground and hug me from my back.

"Thank you, Ray." (Beelzebub)

After that, the night full of silent except from wild animals. I walking to the tent and prepare for tomorrow.
