Beyond The World Plan

Sun almost arise and I once again on a branch tree. Opening a book from one of the hero, Takeru. What I read is more or less a diary of him after the sentence of his death. Running away from the kingdom he was summoned and live alone undercover.

Even though I said it's a diary, but it also contain something useful like weakness of the monster and what can I make from those material. I become a 'Lord of the Hunter' thanks to this book. It's more like a guide for me instead of diary.

"What are you reading so early in the morning, Ray?" (Beelzebub)

I move my eyes to the voice come from. Flying beside me, Beelz rub her eyes as she just woke up from her sleep. I lightly smile to her and continue my reading.

"Morning Beelz, how are you? I'm a bit worry of your condition after last night event, you know."

"I'm fine, thanks for worrying me." (Beelzebub)

She fly closer to me to see what I read.  Her cheeks touching my face by now and I surprisingly move away my face from her. I still feeling awkward to her because of her kiss last night.

"What are you surprising to?" (Beelzebub)

"You are too close just now."

"It's normal if I curious in what you read. Moreover you still not answering my question." (Beelzebub)

It's a surprise for me that she act like nothing happen. Am I the only one who feeling like this?

"Or maybe, you were thinking something naughty about me. Ehm.... I do not know you are kind of pervert." (Beelzebub)

"Cut that out."

I chop her head with my hand. She is rubbing at place where my hand landed to and sulking just now.

"It's a diary of hero named Izawa Takeru. Maybe you know about him since you have live for a long time."

"Izawa Takeru? Ah, that rebel hero." (Beelzebub)

"Rebel hero?"

I quickly question about the name she said about Takeru.

"Yeah, he was a hero that turned his sword to the kingdom who had summoned him after killed the demon lord. After that time, all countries in this world ordered to kill him and put that name to him. After that time, no one ever see him anymore and they considered him already dead in nowhere." (Beelzebub)

Listening to her story, it's totally different with what written in this book.

"How do you know about it?"

"Hmm? If I'm not wrong, I heard that from a general who I and my puppet across by that time." (Beelzebub)

So that was it. That was a story from all the over the world except this guy. One person versus the whole world, if you think rationally, it's impossible for him to survive but he win that condition and still hidden until his death.

"Why are you asked me about him?" (Beelzebub)

She definitely wondering why I want to know about him. I close the book and begin to tell her the reason.

"Because of this book."

"Book?" (Bellzebub)

"Yeah. This is the book he wrote when he was in this world. The story you told about him totally different with what he wrote here..."

I explain the story he wrote here. Part where he sentenced death and part where he got betrayed by people he trusted is the part she shock the most. It's normal since this book told us about him alone survive in a foreign world that already became his enemy. Most people will not believe with what written here but somehow for me, it's all the truth. Somehow, it feels real for me as it happened to me. I do not know why but listening to myself telling me it's true then I believe it too.

"That's all written here. This one person story against the whole world, it's just impossible to survive. This guy, he managed it and die without being killed. This become a happy end for him."

I look at the book and rub it. Somehow, there is a nostalgic feeling coming from this book.

"How can you said that as a happy end?" (Beelzebub)

"I don't know, I just have a hunch. Even I am really sure for it."

She also turn her gaze to this book. Old and tattered cover can be seen because it ages. I open my [Dimentional Storage] and gonna put it back in.

"But, I wonder how can you read it?" (Beelzebub)

My body stiffen, stopping myself from put the book inside the storage.

"Those characters that written in the book not from this world. Even if you using [Translate], you will not be able to read. How can you read that book?" (Beelzebub)

I slowly put the book inside and smile wryly to her.

"I also wondering about it. If I using <Spirit's eyes> on myself, I can see [Reincarnator] written in my status. But, I do not have any memory about my past life. If I am really a reincarnator then I will remember them like the other reincarnator do."

"How can you be so sure a bout that? (Beelzebub)

"Any advancement on industry or product in this world came from the reincarnators, right? That's a prove that they remember their past life. But it's different for me. I couldn't remember any of them."

She flying and hug me from my back. Even if I can't see her face but I know that she is showing her sympathy to me.

"Don't worry about it, it's not a big deal for me." (Beelzebub)

Good, with this I have conquer her perfectly.

"Guess you right. Well, thanks for that. It's time to get back on work."

I leap from top and prepare my stuff for today. The sun is rising but I have a lot thing to do.

Morning came up on the castle and the sunshine went through my room. I heavily move my leg from the bed when the maid calling me for the breakfast. It's still hard for me to forget what happened yesterday but at least I can get up from it.

After the battle with Lily, I locked myself inside the room covered with fear of her. She has power that can't be measure by my [Appraisal] and I am nearly killed too. In front of me, she more like the demon king itself more than the demon king in my mind. But, if she this powerful despite she isn't the demon king then just how powerful the demon king it is?

Seems like I understimating this world too much. Even though I am here with the role as a hero, I can be a dead man easily here. Filled with that thought I couldn't sleep last night until I resolved myself to getting stronger. But I still can't help to getting the princess on my hand so I am making a plan to make sure Lily isn't in my way. No matter how strong or famous she is, she will not dare to go against the kingdom.

Also, the hero always be with the princess when adventuring so I made a plan to separate them even for a minute, it will be enough. Once the [Charm] affect the princess, she will not be a danger for me anymore. I need to make a preparation after finishing my meal.

And with this, another quest has been clear. I jumped off the tree and approach Cecil.

"Good job on killing those harpies. They are really s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e with movement, isn't it?"

Cecil put her bow onto her back and turn toward me.

"Yeah, it's pretty hard to deal." (Cecilya)

I gently rub her hair even though she is taller than me, she is lowering her head every time she talk to me. But more you look at it, she more like a dog waiting for her praises.

"With this, you are recognized as D-rank. For the next quest..."

I check in my bag and bring out the quest paper. I took several quests with me for the trial. What I took was the hardest quest in every rank. And for now I opening the hardest quest in D-rank.

"Oh! Let's skip this one."

I put back the paper and into the next quest which is the hardest quest in C-Rank.

"Eeeh!? What's wrong master? Why are you skipping that quest? Am I...?" (Cecilya)

I quickly close her mouth with my hand. Her face dyed red because I move my face closer to her too.

"Don't you dare to say it, understand?"

She just nodded and I release my breath.

"Listen, I skip that quest because you already clear it. There is no need for you to repeat that."

I can't let her thinking something like "am I not good enough?" or anything similar with that since it will damage her mental state. For now he mental state still unstable for few days and because of that I need to make her obedient to me. Once her mental stable, she will not ever betray me.

"What kind of quest is it?" (Cecilya)

"Just killing some elite goblin such as hobgoblin or scout goblin. Yeah, something like that."

She already took care of them yesterday, even I not expecting that.

"And...about my rank?" (Cecilya)

"Don't worry, with my Authority I decide you as C-Rank adventurer."

Well, it's kinda cheated but it's not against the rule so It's safe.

"Anyway, move into the next quest is kill a frenzy be...ar? Wait, isn't this a B-Rank monster? Why they place it as C-Rank quest?"

"Is there anything wrong with it? No matter what kind of enemy it is, I will fight it." (Cecilya)

Everything is wrong, a mistake like wrong assessment quest can take an adventurer's life if they doesn't know what kind of enemy it is. I learned it after reading one of the books Vi borrowed for me. Moreover, I knew what kind of monster is it because I face it once when I just 10. They are pretty ferocious, you know.

"Don't easily say that. You might lose your life. For my suggestion, let's search for anothe..."

"Don't worry, master. The fact you worrying me is make me happy. I can take care of myself." (Cecilya)

I look at Cecil eyes that full of determination. It will be a landmine for me if I rejecting it. I just can let out a small breath and scratching my head.

"Fine, I will allow you to fight this guys, but I will fight too. Goes without saying the extra task for this quest is how well you gonna cooperate with me."

"Yes!" (Cecilya)

She look happy when I say I'm allow it. I never met this monster since that incident. It's not because I afraid, it's just Razel's surrounding area is not the habitat for this monster.

After six years I meet again with this monster again and I look forward to have an exciting battle with this monster.
