Beyond The World Plan

Night came upon Terrascape. Right after the dinner, I heading to my room since Violet wanted to have a conversation with her father. There are many reliable knights around the king so I can leave her to their hand. But still, I feel unease by leaving her alone without me. Maybe it's because I really close to her recently. She is strong now, she can take care of herself. I probably worrying too much about her or maybe I am just tired.

I throw myself to bed and looking at the ceiling. I become really careful since I came to this castle. I can't let my guard down here since Asahi have a skill named [Charmed] that bestow by the goddess and can easily make any women do anything for him.

Yesterday, I have a duel with him. Just a mock battle for his training but I know he targeting me along this time so I gave him a lesson to trying put a scheme to me. I defeat him with one skill move that could kill him if I really wanted to. After the duel, he didn't go out from his room for the entire day. It must give him quite a shock so he wanted to lock himself in his room. I thought it gonna last for at least three days but seems like I wrong.

Today he came to dining hall to breakfast like nothing happened. It felt really strange since I can see despair from his eyes yesterday. Normal people need a long time to recover from that state. Even if it is a hero, I am sure it still need at least three days to recover. It make me raise all my guard when around him and cost quite a toll to my body. I feel really tired today and I want to sleep early. I hope I can sleep well tonight but it not going that way.

Late at night, I feel a strange movement to Violet's room. I wake up from the bed and hurriedly grab my katana and reaching for the door. I already said that she already strong enough to protect herself but I still worry about assassination. She probably still not used to it. I try to open the door but it won't budge. It probably sealed by a magic since I can feel a trace of magic left behind.

"Seems like I have no choice."

I pull out my sword diagonally and the door split in two. Sound of the door being broken somehow amplified so the entire castle hear it. In front of my room there are already three maids holding a knife charging me. I do not have any choices except to fight them.

Swiftly dodge their attack since it was a simple move, I knock their back using the handle of my sword and they fell unconciously. Looking at the scene give a hint that it probably a trap to accuse me to the prison. I do not pay any attention to it and hurriedly rush to Violet's room.

There are some maids too along the way getting in my way. Even though I know that it was a trap but I can't hold myself to fall in his trap. I do not know why but I think it might be excited if I do so. I knock more people along the way to her room.

When I nearly get in touch with her room, I suddenly attacked by someone behind me. I block the attack with my sword and observe who is attacking me.

Move out from the shadow, a female knight named Elizabeth holding her sword firmly. She is one of five elite knights named 'Crimson Kinght' in Terrascape. She is also the only woman who currently a member of 'Crimson Knight'. Looking at her background, she looks like a tough enemy that boiled my blood to have fun but regretfully I need to break through Violet's room to save her.

"Move out the way if you don't want to get hurt."

I give her a warn since I have no time to have a business with her but seems like she not hearing my advise.

"I am the one who supposedly say that. After your act injuring the maids here and trying to abduct princess, you will not be able to escape from dead, either by me or the guillotine." (Elizabeth)

She give me no choice except to fight her. I readily to launch my attack when I hear Violet's voice from inside her room.

"ATARAXIA!!" (Violet)

After that, a blow coming from her room and knocked out every single person around the hall including Elizabeth. I am not included since in her heart I am known as her allies. Ataraxia, the necklace that Violet use is a protective charm that made from dark power. It can block any attack and negative effect that will harm the user. Just with saying it names and the effect will be activated. It can't be use anytime since it will only can be activate again after a month. It will also not harm anyone that consider as the user allies and that's why it will not affect me.

If you ask Ray how she have it then he will refuse the tell you. It is given as a gift for celebrate Violet's graduation. He spend his three years to made that thing. Yeah, if he saw someone with potential will be his allies, he can't help himself to make a gift for them. Yeah, kinda idiot but that's how he is.

After that, I rush to her room and I see that Asahi already in her room laid down on the floor after hitting the wall. He also in a halfway to pull down his pants that I feel nothing but gross. I reach Violet and ask her what happen.

"He drugs me and I almost fell for him with his [Charm]. Thanks to this I saved and the drug effect also have been nullified." (Violet)

"Now, what will we..."

"YOU! What was that!? How can suddenly there was a blow!?" (Asahi)

He standing up with his halfway down pants and staring at us confidently.

"That doesn't matter, you two already here so I will have both of you!" (Asahi)

He released his [Charm] targeting on both of us. Thanks to Ray's training, seems like we have enough mental resistance even though we facing with a God's power.

"Don't you think he is weird, Violet?"

"What?" (Asahi)

He dumbfoundedly wondering why I am not fall for him and act like normal. From behind, I can hear a blast smashing the wall and the main gate of the castle can be seen.

"Yeah, I think so too. Let's get out from here Lily." (Violet)

His shocked multiply when finding that Violet too didn't affected by his [Charm]. His confident face rapidly fading from his face and it quite satisfying me looking at his sudden change.

"Are you sure about this Violet?"

"Yeah, I have make a countermeasure for that so we have no problem." (Violet)

"You are NOT telling him right?"

"Absolutely not." (Violet)

With that, both of us jumped out from the wall and landed safely. By the way, Violet's room is on the third floor.

"Don't let Lily get away! She abducted the princess!" (Asahi)

Yelling from the third floor, his voice reach outside thanks to [Sound Amplify] that similar spell like the door at my room. The guards didn't believe the situation and approaching us with a rush. Looking at them, I can tell that those guards are the same as in Razel so I give them a signal to go with the flow. Understanding it, they are not hesitating anymore and trying to attack us. We swiftly move aside and those guards following right behind us. The reinforcement guards under the hero command who just jumped down following us far behind. They didn't see our scheme play and just following without any doubt.

How can the thing become like this? In the near moment I capture Princsss Violet, she suddenly scream and a blow come out of nowhere. My body feel numb after that and the drug that I give to her has been neutralized. Lily come in to the room and I forcing my body so I can cast [Charm] to both of them. But again, the thing didn't go like I want. They are not effected of my [Charm] and run away from the castle.

With the trap I plan before, Lily will be a suspect for abducting the princess. I command the soldiers to chase after them and after fix my pant, I jumped down and also chase them with the soldiers who just arrive.

We are reaching the town when suddenly some of the soldiers got shot down by arrows. I looking for the archer on the roof but I am not seeing anyone. The arrows continue to fall fown and I decide to looking for where the arrows come from. I with some soldiers heading to search the archer.

We stop our feet at city plaza and I can see two people on the roof of the church where the bell hang on. One male with white jacket that feels familiar for me and the other one looks like an elf. Seems like I make an eye contact with the white one and the elf is fleeing from the scene. An arrow flying right to my face and I manage to defend it with [Light Barrier]. He jumped down in front of me and it turned out to be someone that I knew.

"Yo, it's been a while, right? Seems like you have do something to one of my girls, huh. Well, whatever it is I will give you the lesson for trying to lay your dirty hand to her." (Ray)

"YOU.... I am supposed to be the one who told it. You have laid your hand on her and change her heart! I will never forgive you!!"

"Well, that's funny because you are supposed to say it to yourself though. Yeah whatever, just come with all you got, okay." (Ray)

I clench my theeth and can not contain my anger anymore. I draw my sword and pointing my sword to him. The soldiers near me do the same as I do and knowing him using a bow, this clearly my win. No matter how strong he is, he can't win against the number. However, he grinning and aim his bow to my head. Sensing a danger coming, I raise my guard and get ready for the upcoming move he does.

He shot an arrow and with my reflex, I cut the arrow that approaching me. Surprisingly, the arrow explode the moment it touches my sword and I thrown back a far from my position. The soldiers can't contain the damage and they are laid on the ground unconciously.

"Oh, it's a surprise that you can survive from that. Normal people would die if they are that close with the explosion. Well, you are a hero after all." (Ray)

I have to give my thanks to Gods who blessing me with an armor made by their magic. The armor always covering my body since she said that this is a power that given to every hero that summoned into this world. Thanks to that, the damage I receive greatly reduced.

I standing up and running to him with my sword ready to slice him up. He still not preparing another arrow so this is a good opoortunity to attack him. I swing my sword and he swiftly turn around his body but it's too late since my sword will reach him. However, he draws his sword with the other hand and stopped my sword with reverse sword.

"How's that? Surprise? You must know that this world not using your Role Playing Game logic, you know." (Ray)

Hearing that left me a surprise on my face since I never heard someone else saying that. No people from this world know the 'RPG' term is. That term is coming from my original world, the Earth. However he know that word that only give me one answer.

"Hey, are you a..."

He push me back without give me a chance to finish my word. He get ready again with his bow without putting back his sword.

"Sorry, I have no time to talk. I am here to give you a lesson." (Ray)

He pull his bow string and an arrow made by magic appear and released from his bow. I cut down the arrow while he continously attacking. I manage to repel his attack and give me a confident to win against him. His job is an assassin but he dare to act like an archer and show his weakness. He clearly understimating me,a hero. Even though I only came to this world a year ago, but my <Sword Mastery> at level 10. I will show him the power of a hero.

"<Creation Art>[Mana Blade]." (Ray)

Alongside with the arrow he shot, there are also many blades appear out of nowhere. It probably a magic but I never see any magic like this. He also not stop and give a slight of look he chanting the magic. I choose the defend move and use [Light Barrier] to defend. The arrow and blades hitting the barrier. Both of them shattered in front of me but it push me back since the blades also explode when it shattered. It left smokes that make me unable to see what in front of me.

After a few moment, the attack suddenly stopped. I thought that he is currently run out of mana and this give me a chance to strike him back. However I am wrong. The moment smoke fading away, I saw him preparing his attack. A blue flame gathering to his bow and make an arrow.

"Shit, [Holy Barrier]!'

I do not why but it feels really sharp that I think this barrier can be penetrated easily. He give me no choice except to raise the power of my barrier or else I will be suffered from the damage. He really not giving me any chance to do anything.

"Burst! [Fiery Flame Shot]!" (Ray)

The arrow approaching in high speed and get in touch with the barrier. The heat of blue flame from the arrow burns me up even though I not in touch with it. The arrow really strong and could penetrate the barrier and left me no choice to defend it with my sword. The heat I feel suddenly raising and I starting to lose my conciousness. From far behind the flame, I heard Ray's voice full of satisfactory.

"Well, I think enough for today. I hope this give you a good lesson about touching my girls. I hope I can have more fun with you in the future." (Ray)

Along with the flame calming down, I gradually lose my conciousness. In the last moment I swear in my heart that I will kill him from ruining my plan.
