"Hello, welcome to the Razel Guild. My name is Sana, how can I help you both." (Sana)

"Hello, we are here to become an adventurer." (Ray)

As I said that, the guild become silent.

"Hahaha! Children like you want to be adventurer? Nice joke, kiddo!"

Someone shout near the door. Not long after that everyone laughing.

"I am sorry but, adventurer not a plaything job." (Sana)

Well that's kinda expected. Pushing some kid to the danger, no one want to do that. Except, they are maybe some mad guy.

"Yeah we know that. We come here because we confident with our skill." (Lily)

"To tell you the truth, we live in the forest and hunt by ourself. So, when it come to kill monster we confident on it." (Ray)

Again, the guild become silent.

"Even you said that, I can't approve that." (Sana)

"If I remember, there is no age requirement to become adventurer. After all, you guys in short of manpower because the monster that go wild outside the town, isn't it? If you doubt our skill you can ask Cole, we escort him here." (Ray)

Well this thing is important. Saving someone from danger. More importantly, he is a merchant who has many connection and can be trusted. This will be advantage for time like this.

"Allright, I will make your guild card. However, any injuries or be killed on the quest will not become guild's responsibilities." (Sana)

"Got it." (Ray)

Sana gave us the form that we must fill. The data that required is name, age, and job.

Well, I expected that Lily will pickup the [Swordman]. But, how about me?

I have good physical abilities and can use magic. Using dagger that mean your job is [Thief] or [Assassin].

If I pick [Thief], then all I can do is set and disarm trap also sense prescene. If I chose [Assassin], well you can expect it. There is no way 13 years old children become assassin.

And judging from my ability using magic, there is only one job that suitabel with me.

"So, Lily will be a [Swordman] and Ray will..." (Sana)

Her word stop as she saw my form. Well, the job I pick is rarely one.

"Ray, are you sure with this job?" (Sana)

"Yeah."(Ray)

"Hey, what this kiddo write?"

"Ray... your job is [Magic Warrior], the Underrated job." (Sana)

[Magic Warrior] as its name, using both magic and physical to battle. This job is one of the weakest or they called it 'Underrated'.

Actually this job is pretty strong like the other. The reason why they put this job underrated is everyone who pick this job only become a burden for their party.

This job will make you to focus not only for physical but also magic at the same time. Thats what make this job hard to handle.

As for me the reason choosing [Magic Warrior] is they can use any weapon they like and I pretty much can handle magic.

And without a word anymore, she making the card and ask us to give a drop of our blood. Once again, the guild become silent.

When everyone is still confuse with the job I pick, the guild door is opened loudly. The one who came is the gatekeeper we met before.

"We have emergency request. Everyone, hundred of monster coming to the town! We need everyone here to help! The landlord will give a silver coin for every monster you kill! So Please, lend us your power!"

And with that, the guild become noisy. And for me, I grin at the monent I hear that.

"Well, Sana, isn't it? If you still doubting our power, then we will prove you that we can handle this." (Lily)

That was so brave to say that, Lily. But she is right, this is the perfect time to prove our capabilities. We will hunt them equal to the D-Rank Adventurer can do.

As for Sana, yeah even she hate children like us but she can't hide her worries.

"Don't worry, we will make it. However, can we rank up from this quest alone?" (Ray)

She snapped out of her mind and answer my question.

"If you met the requirement during this quest then you can rank up. The information of monster you killed will be recorded in this card."

She said that and give us our guild card.

"Then, there is no problem. We will show you our power and our capability!" (Ray)

That's good for knowing that. This quest alone can make us rank up. With this, the first step up of our objective will be completed in no time.

Well, good thing you came here monsters. Because of you, we can reach it right now!

"All adventurer prepare yourself and head to the gate!!"

"HOOO!!"

Everyone in the guild get their self ready. Carrying their weapon, prepare the armor and potion.

Meanwhile me and Lily still at the front of receiptionist watching them.

"Doesn't you say you two will be going too?" (Sana)

"That's right." (Lily)

"So, why are you still here when everyone already go there!?" (Sana)

The guild is almost empty right now. Not long there is no one left, only us three inside.

"We have something to do before going." (Lily)

"Then, you should go to prepare that!" (Sana)

"No need, all I can do now is wait." (Lily)

Hear what Lily said make Sana confused. 'How can they still calm in this situation?'. Maybe that what she thought

"Wait for what?" (Sana)

"Something feels off." (Ray)

Finally, after grinding my brain for a while, I can see what happened around here.

"What's wrong?" (Sana)

"Lately, number of monster around here significantly raised. And today is the day when princess arrive here soon for her study." (Ray)

Sana tilt her head in confuse while Lily has got what I said.

"Then, its mean the real target is not the city, but the princess's carriage. The monster that came here just use as distraction while the princess will be attacked by the other monster or someone without any reinforcement. This is not an accident, someone has planned this." (Ray)

She shock when hear it. Yeah, there is nothing wrong. The monster frenzy coming at the same time the princess will come. And many people injured or got killed on the mid way to other town.

Their main target was the princess, and they will using this phenomenon to blame on princess's death.

"Impossible! You can realize all of that in instant. Who was planned this? Then that means princess in danger!?" (Sana)

Realizing what really happened here make her panic. Yeah, I already expected that. Right now with only two of us here, she doesn't have any choices except send us go help princess.

"So, that's why you two still in here." (Sana)

We nod, give her sign that we really do this in purpose.

"Yeah, and we adventurer can't go without a reasonable reward." (Ray)

Another advantage has been acquired. She without doubt will make it a quest with high reward for only two of us. If we can complete this, then without doubt we will rank up to the point we want.

"Allrght, this will be special quest for you two. You're reward will be given once you accomplished this." (Sana)

Yeah, it really happen like I thought. Lily smile at me and I give her a grin.

"We will take it." (Ray)

"Our preparation is complete. Now we will going." (Lily)

And with that we headed out the guild and went outside the town. Everyone has gathered at the gate. They are still preparing squad and make a strategy. Meanwhile us, yeah kinda pass by them.

"Oy kiddo, where you going?"

"Just doing some quest." (Ray)

And with that we start running. I feel large number of energy coming.

"They already start." (Ray)

I whisper to Lily and with her nod we using [Airdash] to speed up and enchance that with [Wind Boost].

We passing large squad of monster in no time. They seems confused but ignore what happen. I still focusing on searching any other kind of energy except the monster while Lily keep her cautiousness around.

I can tell the prescence around me thaanks to my [Sense]. Normally, people will use [Search] or [Detect] to watch surrounding.

Releasing a certain of mana and know their surrounding when it hit an object. However, it no use when someone using [Stealth]. They hide their presence with releasing some mana to merges and distract his surround.

But what I use is different. Using [Sense] make me can feel any kind of mana or energy arround. Everything in this world has mana. With kind of fact like that, I train to feel how mana in wild and compare it with living creature.

I [Sense] something. That is a huge amount of mana. Thats not a monster but human. Give a signal to Lily, we move to the source.

There is already dozens of high monster around the royalty carriage. The source of mana is inside there. Seems like her still not notice that.

Only 3 peoples guarding the carriage. Well, we already know what will happen, right? They are all will dead.

It will happen if no one help them. But it is different. They have an unexpected reinforcement, us. Cutting throgh straight to where the other guard with [Dash Strike], the other surprise with our arrival.

"We are from Razel's guild. We have a quest to save the princess." (Ray)

Yeah, with this the tides has changed!

"Is the guild crazy? They send us two children as reinforcement."

One of them opposing our arrival. But a man with red hair and eyes around 30 defend us.

"Did you not see what they do before? They cut through the monster instantly. Now is not the time to question it. Whoever they send to us, they are sure the best adventurer. " (???)

"Yes sir!"

Seems like the red guy is the commander here. He got the point that we are strong and the guild send us. But i felt sorry for him to ruin his expectation. Truthfully, we are the only choice they have though.

"We will charge forward and you guys just guard the carriage." (Ray)

Allright, time to give our best. But before we set out, the princess get off the carriage.

"I will help too!" (Princess)

She bring out a wand. Seems like she is a [Magician].

"But princess, this is dangerous"(???)

The red guy said worriedly.

"Thats not a problem. We need every help we can get. Sorry to give you an order princess, but prepare your most powerful area attack you have. We will give you the time." (Ray)

"Got it." (Princess)

"[Flame Ring]!" (Ray)

With that fire appear circling my body. I jump to the horde and start slashing them.

"<Floral Art> [Whip Slash]!" (Lily)

In instant every single monster around her cut down in to the pieces. Only leaving some leaf as the effect of her skill.

She made her own art with nature mana. Her slash is more sharp and strong than mithril sword. Using nature mana make this art more efficient than using her own mana. But, its hard to control a mana that not come from herself. However she have natural talent to do it.

And now I am surrounded by 5 high orcs.

"[Flame Radiance]!" (Ray)

The fire that circling me was assault toward the orcs. In instant, they were burned by the fire and the fire pierce them.

I take a glance to the knight. They still can hold out the monster. And the princess almost finished the chanting.

"<Light Area Magic> [Light Fall]!" (Princess)

Before the attack was casted I make a move. I already casted [Ice Lance] on her magic and combine it together.

"Allright! <Fusion Art> [Rainbow Lance Fall]." (Ray)

The magic fused perfectly. Not long after that the lance fall from sky. I immediately retreat from the front lane. Lily instinctally dodge the attack and retreat.

The impact from the attack was high. Everything in front of us is blur without knowing it's succeded or not.

After waiting for a while. There are many hole around the monster stand before. Everyone shocked from the attack and gaze toward the princess. The princess also seems confuse with the result.

When they are distracted, we take a move to leave them behind. This is the best outcome for now. The princess not killed and annihilated the monster as the result of her magic.

With high speed we are heading back to Razel. At the gate, the adventurer still fighting the monster. Many of them injured and they are in the cornered situation.

"[Ice Needle]!" (Ray)

"[Wind Blast]!" (Lily)

There is a blow of wind with ice coming quickly to the monster. Many monster killed in instant. We are draw our weapon and charge forward.

The remained adventurer shocked with the result of our attack. With our arrival, the number of the monster decreased significantly. As the result of our did, the adventurer's morale boosted.

After that we fight alongside with other adventurer and repelled the monster from the city. Everything finish when the sun already set down. Everyone decided to give their report tomorrow.

At night, we search an inn. We forgot to reserved it before. We hope there is an inn that still available around this hour. We must find it out soon before very late. Unexpectedly we met Ira on the way. Seems like she is going to buy some food.

"What are you doing around this time? Children must go to sleep right now." (Ira)

"We know, but we forgot to reserved an inn. We still searching an available inn now." (Lily)

"There is no more around this time. How about you sleep at our home?" (Ira)

"Doesn't it bothered you?" (Ray)

"Absolutely not." (Ira)

She said that with smile.

"Then, we must say thank you." (Ray)

Both of us bow our head as gratitude toward her.

"There is no need to be polite to me. Allright, we are going." (Ira)

At her home, she prepare our dinner. We also have a chat with Cole about this noon. Of course we not told him about the princess's case. The dinner is what she bought before, meat stick.

"I am sorry, since we don't have any guest before, there is only one room available. So you two will share room." (Ira)

We spit our meat as we heard that. And for Cole... he is smiling to me. What is inside your head, old man!? Knowing my gaze, he say something.

"You both still a children after all. So there is nothing wrong with sharing bed, right?" (Cole)

So this is what he thinking. Of course I would refuse that. I rather sleep on the couch than sharing bed with her.

"O-Of course its nothing wrong with that. W-We will accept that." (Lily)

Crap, Lily what are you saying. I want to deny that but looking at Lily with her high expectation made me can't go against it. Damn Cole, you have bring a problem to me.

So with that, we share a room and sleep together in the same bed.
