Dark King: Revenge Is Painful

As soon as the Spirit lord appeared, the level 2 Devil stopped hunting others and jumped at him.

As Devils, they had a long lifespan of 10,000 years at grade 1, and their lifespan increased by ten times every two grades.

But they had been suppressed for the whole ten thousand years under the mansion for extracting their Spirit beads and their resentment was not only because they had been sealed but also because they would die soon.

Millions of spirits had tried to break through their spirit form to become Devils in the past, but only these five had succeeded while the others had faded away.

At that time, these five Devils had been excited. They thought that their Spirit World was going to usher in a more prosperous Era.

But when they visited the Royal Spirit Clan to thank them for the resources the Clan had provided to let them break through and become Devils, they had been forcefully detained and sealed.

Only then did the five Devils understand the true nature of the Royal Clan. The Royal Clan had planned on extracting their spirit beads all along, and that was the reason that they were provided with resources to break through.

The resentment from betrayal, from taking away their freedom and becoming a cause for their soon to come deaths made the Devils even more violent than they should have been. It was this resentment and some outside help that helped the Devil to form a Devil core which let him break through to level 2.

The spirit lord immediately parried the level 2 Devil's attack with the sword by his waist.

His arms turned numb due to the impact and he was thrown back with pain etched on his handsome face. His three spirit beads seemed to have taken a slight damage from this causal attack.

"Huhuu! Go daddy! Kill that bastard for hurting you! Kill him!" Little fish jumped up excitedly as she saw her father getting beaten down. Her words were supporting her father, but her excitement said otherwise.

The Level 2 Devil did not stop attacking seeing the Spirit lord's pitiful expression, instead, he became more and more aggressive making the spirit lord defend with his life on the line.

"Do you need to do this! I know that your death is near! Why must you destroy your motherland! Did you forget the fact that this land raised you!" Realising that he would collapse sooner or later if he did not do anything, the Spirit lord tried to argue.

But too bad that the Devil's sense of home had been destroyed in the long painful years of a prisoner, so the spirit lord's words only managed to increase the Devil's offensive.

The Spirit lord's expression turned grim. Seeing that he would not be able to live anymore, he turned and fled, not caring about the massacred spirits.

The Level 2 Devil snorted heavily and chased. The direction the Spirit lord had chosen was obviously toward the sea, from where Hei Wang and others were watching the situation.

Seeing them flying towards them, Feng Xue'er gave Hei Wang a glance. He was still relaxed, in fact, it seemed that he was happy. Was he happy that he was going to die? She could not help but roll her eyes at his happy expression.

"Little Fish, get ready! This is our chance!" Hei Wang shouted as he took out a few Non Attribute Elixir crystals. He carried about Hundred of them in his arms at once.

"Yes Master!" Little fish excitedly licked her lips and summoned her Four supreme spirit beads.

When she first met Hei Wang in the past, she had been a m.a.t.u.r.e women who had her spirit beads broken. No one had wanted to form a contract with her because of that, but our guy had found out about her Supreme Spirit with his Spirit Eyes and had scammed her into becoming his spirit.

Even though she had memories of her past life because of Hei Wang, her past maturity was lost in the long process.

Even though Little Fish could perfectly handle the level 2 Devil, Hei Wang did not relax. After all, he could easily guess that her Spirit beads had been destroyed in this fight!

'It seems like the Devil has something up his sleeve!' Hei Wang did not underestimate his opponent.

Before long, the Spirit Lord came flying towards Hei Wang with the level 2 Devil on tow.

The spirit lord saw Hei Wang and Little Fish and his expression turned into a sneer. He probably guessed that Little Fish was the one that had helped the Devils break their seal.

The spirit lord immediately chose a target between them and flew towards his daughter. "My DAUGHTER! Are you safe!" He shouted loudly. It seemed like he was subtly informing someone that she was his daughter.

Sure enough, the Devil that was chasing him emitted a murderous Aura towards little Fish which completely satisfied the Spirit lord on the inside, but on the outside he seemed to be extremely worried.

"I will distract this bastard, so run away the other side!" The sprit lord said righteously and flew away in another direction. Seeing his extremely worried expression, one would want to give him an oscar, no, 5 oscars.

Feng Xue'er was left speechless by this guy's shamelessness. While Hei Wang only smiled in disdain.

"Kill that guy and absorb his spirit beads! With your supreme spirit I doubt you will fail. I will keep the Devil occupied for you!" He said to Little Fish before rushing towards the level 2 Devil.

"Aye! Master!" Little fish acknowledged and chased after the spirit lord. She knew spirit lord only saw her as a potential Devil who could give him more spirits beads, so she did not feel any emotions towards killing him.

The Devil had wanted to chase the daughter and kill her before going for her father, but the daughter, instead of running in a different direction like her father asked her to, was chasing after her father.

'I am lucky that they are fools. Why are they fleeing in the same direction!' The Devil smirked and was about to chase the father daughter duo, but a handsome human blocked his path. Moreover he did that with an arrogant smile.
