Since it look like I didn't have any more choice, I take out the first crystal of my peerage set that I got as a gift from Félina at my first birthday, which according to her letter at that time are able to increase my own magic as well as some other benefit. Putting the crystal to my c.h.e.s.t, it then starts to fuse with my skin for then disappear inside my body…

"Shit.. It's f.u.c.k.i.n.g hurt.." Did I shout painfully when the crystal enter in my body, making me sweating a lot

"Ohh? This is… Hmm, interesting!" Say Hikari seeing the change appears in my body while she was staying focus on the fifth man who was still hiding

Luckily, the pain soon disappears and I felt more energy inside me, relieving a few my worries with the incoming battle.

"Hikari, time to counter attack!" When I just saw that my mom and her friends were also ready to fight the other four guys and was waiting the perfect time to launch their attack as well…

"I need both of you to distract him and if it's possible, please immobilize him even if it's just for a few second. GO!" Did I shout in my mind toward Hikari and Frosty

Hikari suddenly run directly to a big tree that was behind us while Frosty just run behind her for then suddenly changing direction to the right side of the tree for take him in his blind spot.

But since we also know that the fifth man has also a spirit beast with him, we also need to be aware of our surrounding as well and had to protect the wounded spirit beast and the kids as well.

Thankfully, Félina also gave a special box as well to Linoa and I also see her taking out her own crystal as well from the corner of my eyes just after she saw me using mine, making myself able to focus of the last foe, since I know that I have her for my backup.

Hearing some people crying behind me, I almost turned my head back but I concentrate my attention at Hikari who suddenly jump to the left side of the big tree while changing to her normal form in the same time, making the man who was hiding there shout from shock while walking back, directly to where Frosty was waiting for him.

In fact, how he cannot be surprised to suddenly facing a huge black tiger which is almost as tall as he was while seeing her jumping in front of him, making him failed to chant his spell that he was just started and make him to even didn't notice the white fox who was behind him and that suddenly froze the area around him.

Having suddenly both of his feet freeze to the ground, the fifth man lost his balance and fall down on his b.u.t.t without understanding what's happening and cannot dodge what was following next to him.

< TASER SHOT > Did I shout while pointing my wand to the fifth man.

A purple thin lightning strike appear at the top of my wand and fly toward the poor man who was suddenly on his b.u.t.t with fear on his face while looking helplessly a what was coming to him before he collapse by the electric chock.

Honestly I was quiet proud to see that my idea to copy a modern weapon from my past life really succeed at my first try, specially since I didn't want to kill him first. After all, I am just a little kid right now. Well in this new life thought!

But it was not the time to celebrate it since his spirit beast didn't show up yet while I was looking around me, my wand ready in my hand to launch at any time when I finally heard Hikari.

"Hiro, you can relax... His spirit beast will not attack us!" Started to explain Hikari before Sakura suddenly appear next to me with her wand pointed toward the fifth man as well while looking at me in disbelief of what I just did.

"How did you.." Started Sakura before I stop her by taking her hand and lower her wand to the ground.

"Later..!" Did I say while shaking my head when suddenly a bird appears in front of us.

My mom and Isabelle who just arrived were pointing their own wands toward the bird who just appear in front of us before I had time to ask them to stop by showing my palm to them and putting my finger front of my mouth, asking for silence while listening to the story that my spirit beast was telling me.

It look like the reason why the spirit beast of the last man didn't attack us was because it is not really his spirit beast as same as Hikari or Frosty are with Linoa and me, connecting to us via a magical contract. It appears it was under a curse, making itself had to follow some order from the man, but without any loyalty toward him or obligation to reveal everything if the master didn't ask precisely order.

That is why he didn't tell his master about the two others spirit us among us and only tell him only about the two that they were chasing. And look like thanks to me who also use a spell that knock him out, he was temporally disconnect to the curse connection due to my rare lightning attribute, making the spirit bird the choice to didn't attack us back and was able to tell Hikari about the curse.

After telling everyone as well about it, Sakura look at Hikari and me with big eyes, then at the spirit bird, which was looking at us.

"Why not kill the man, so that's mean the curse may disappear as well or at least the spirit bird will not be able to follow anymore his order until we put of the curse!" Proposed Sakura

"Unfortunately, that will not be that easy!" Did I reply

"Why?" Asked the three women in the same time

"Because.." Did I start while looking at the spirit bird that nodded back at me while suddenly flame appears all around him, and starting to become bigger.

"Holy Shi*…" Shouted suddenly a man behind us.

It was Takashi who just returns with Ichijou and my dad after they heard the noise created by the recent attack coming from here. But the reason why he, well everyone was chock was because of the true form of the spirit bird!

"A Phoenix…!" Whispered everyone while looking at the majestic bird in front of them.

Everyone was looking at the bird in disbelief of these majestic creature that had just appear in front of them, one of the most legendary spirit beast in the world… And right now it was standing in front of them.

"That is why it's useless to kill the man yet, since because of the curse on the Phoenix, it will have to use his special skill to revive him" Did I say while everyone was still looking at the firebird.

"A curse?" Asked suddenly Takashi, since he missed the previous explanation

"I see.. That's also why he was not able to make a magic contract with it, and only use this way for control partially the Phoenix... The magician was not enough strong to submissive the Phoenix and had certainly use some little trick to curse it." Comment Takashi after Sakura and I tell them what just happened

"You want to do WHAT??" Shout both Takashi and Sakura after they hear my plan that involved their daughter

"To be honest, I am not sure it may work as well, but except if you have any better idea to save the phoenix, we haven't lot of choice." Did I remind them, making both of them looking at the phoenix then at their daughter

"By the way, how are you able to use such strong spell?" Asked suddenly Takashi, making everyone turning their head to them since they were also wanted to know about it.

Sakura looked at me without saying anything… In fact, it appear that when she was fighting with the other four men, she was also looking at the kids in the corner of her eyes and she saw me taking out a stone from my bracelet before seeing it disappear in my c.h.e.s.t.

Unaware about Sakura's gaze at me, I find a plausible excuse that the spell was that strong and did use a few magic from my spirit beast as well, making them nodding without else questions about it, at least for the moment…

"I think we can let him try" Say suddenly Sakura, making her husband looking at her in disbelief but he after seeing something special in her eyes, he also decide to let him try, knowing that his wife already make her decision.

Seeing that both of Phoebe parents were agree about their son idea, both my parents also decide to let him try as well, trusting his friends, but also their own son since everyone was agree about his plan. Since they decide to le met try, I called Phoebe to come here while taking her wand out from my space storage and give to her when she arrived next to me.

"Why are you giving me my wand?" Ask Phoebe surprised about his sudden action and seeing her parents staring at her.

"I may need your help to help our little new friend here, do you want to help us?" Did I ask her while pointing my finger at the phoenix

"What do you want me to do?" Ask Phoebe without any hesitation since she know that the Phoenix did help them too a while ago

"I want you to use your first spell for put off the curse on the Phoenix!" Did I just ask her

"Ehhh?? But I didn't learn any magic yet.. I don't know if I can do that..." Say Phoebe afraid to fail her first spell since she just got her wand today and everyone even warned her to not use magic yet, at least before some training...

"I know that I ask you a lot, but I want you to trust in me as you did trust me when we make the bet a week ago... Can you do it?"

"Are you going to make a new bet with me?" Say Phoebe while pouting when she remembers her previous and scary bet.

"Hahaha… NO! I will not make a new bet, I just want you to trust in me... But if you succeed, I will grant you a wish" Did I tell her while wink at her

"Really?!!" Did she ask with lot of sparkle in her eyes

"Sigh.. Until it's something not to exaggerate.. I will!" Did I promise her in front of the a.d.u.l.t who was trying to contain their laugh while looking at us.

"OK! What I should do then" Did she ask

"First, I want you to close your eyes and focus yourself to the phoenix! I want to you to find something weird.. A word, a symbol or a rune anything that may be makes you feel uncomfortable! Try first to find it" Did I ask her while pouring few of my own magic inside her

Luckily, in the meditation book that Félina gave to me five year ago, there was also a way to transfer our magic energy to someone else, making it easier for Phoebe to find the curse on the phoenix body..

"I find it!" Suddenly shout Phoebe with a happy voice

"Perfect! Now I want you to keep concentrate on it, and only on it, and imagine that your wand sent bright light ball, like many small suns but only where the curse is! Make them to surround it!" Did I instruct her

Suddenly her wand become a little brighter and we can see many small light balls floating toward the Phoenix.

Seeing it, I look at the phoenix to see if it was ready as well, for see him nodding at me.

"Good! Now, listen carefully first. I want you to imagine that these little balls will remove the curse away, and only the curse part as same as when we clean our black board in our playing room when we write or draw on it, it just become like dust for then fly away…"

"So I want to do the same and when you are ready, just shout < Erasum Maledicta > to move away that curse! Understand?"

Staying focus on the curse, Phoebe nodded at me before taking a big breath and then shouting the spell I just teach her.

Everyone was looking at the Phoenix who suddenly raises his head while crying for then seeing some black smoke going out of his body, making the phoenix stopped to feel hurt in his body as well. They didn't have time to say anything yet when they saw Hiroki sweating a lot.

"Hiroki..!" Shout everyone when seeing him falling down on the ground from exhaustion
