While Cheng Mu was returning to his office, he got a call from Xiang. He then picked it up to answer it.

“Hello! What is it Xiang?”

“Mu, my body is heating up. It feels like I am in heat!”

“What!!! Didn’t your heat arrive just the week before? Are you sure it’s your heat?”

“I don’t know! But it feels the same!”

“I’ll be there in a few moments! Make sure to lock the door and take in a few suppressants just in case it’s your heat. Don’t worry. I’ll be there,” said Cheng Mu. Cheng Mu doesn’t have any real-life experiences of being attacked by an Alpha. But his mother had once been in that situation. It was his father that saved her from being bitten. But on the other hand, it was how his parents met and fell in love. Cheng Mu had always kept an eye on Xiang, as he has excess hormone problems. But he had never heard of people going in heat often, because of that reason.

When he reached the destination, he rushed out of the car as fast as he could and went to the room were Xiang was. He quickly opened the door and shut it.

“Xiang, are you better?”

“It’s still the same as before. I think I’m really in heat. It was a good thing that I had some suppressants with me.”

“We can’t say if it’s for sure. I’ll call the doctor just in case,” said Cheng Mu. He picked up the phone and dialed their family doctor.

“Did you give the lunch to Suho?”

“Yes. But that’s not important now! Focus on being in control! You’re really a crackhead!”

Xiang sighed in response.

“Are the suppressants working?”

“I think so. If it’s my heat, I think it’s quite mild than my regular one.”

“That’s good to hear. The doctor seems to be nearby. She’ll be here soon.”

*knock on the door*

She then started to examine him, which took a while.

She then concluded, “Yup! He is indeed going through heat. But it seems to be a mild case.”

“But, he just had his heat the week before!”

“This is common in some people. It’s nothing to worry about. Some people even have heat three times a month.”

“Is there some way to prevent it?” asked Cheng Mu.

“No. But since it’s quite mild, you can completely suppress it with suppressants. I’ll prescribe you a different one for this case. Rest for a while Xiang. You’ll be better!”
