My Marriage To A Mute Alpha

Just when they were about to finish talking, the door creaked open. Xiang and Cheng Mu flinched for a second. It was none other than Suho.

“How did you get in?”

“Do you think I don’t have a key to my room?”

“Yes! It’s your room! HA! HA!” said Xiang awkwardly. He turned his head side to side, as a means of dodging Suho’s terrifying stare.

Cheng Mu immediately got up and said, “I think I have to leave. Take your time!” He then tried to escape. But Suho stopped him before he could slip away.

“Mr. Cheng Mu, where do you think you’re going?”

“Oh! There’s a donut sale going on nearby. I can’t miss it, right! if you’ll excuse me…..,”

“Nobody’s leaving this place! Not until you two explain what is going on!”

“Suho, please. It’s not what you think.”

Cheng Mu stood there like a statue while he gulped. Suho walked up to Xiang, kneeled before him, and looked up at him.

“Suho, what are you doing! Get up!” said Xiang and kneeled on the floor together with him. He hugged Suho and said, “You didn’t have to do this.”

“If that’s what it takes, I won’t hesitate,” said Suho and kissed him on the forehead.

“He knew that you might vex over it. That’s why he hesitated to tell you about it. I’ll leave you two alone. Please talk it over,” said Cheng Mu and left.

“Did you hear everything?”

“Yes. I came back to get something. I coincidentally heard you two talking.”

“It’s true. I have a very high resistance to Alpha pheromones. Your pheromone is the first one that got me excited. I guess that’s why I fell in love with you a bit too fast.”

“What about the perfume smell?”

“It’s got to be the perfume, which makes Omegas go into heat. I can recognize it.”

“Did you smell it on Ai?”

“Yes. When it’s sprayed on an Alpha, it suffocates them. I think that’s what Ai experienced.”

“But, couldn’t she have reacted to it a bit early if she had sprayed it on herself?”

“Then, someone must have sprayed it on her.”

“Could it be Zhao?” asked Suho in a disappointed voice. He could never imagine his brother doing such a thing.

“We have no evidence that it’s him. Anyway, he is going to be here for the remainder of the time. We have a lot of time to keep an eye on him and Ai.”

“But…Why would they try to hurt you?”

“Suho, don’t fret over it. We don’t know if it’s them. Whoever they might be, they might have acted upon us sooner or later. It’s actually a good thing that they started being active earlier.”

“You’re quite brave during these situations. Aren’t you?” asked Suho and smirked. Xiang crawled towards him and sat on his lap.

“Hey! you’re heavy!”

“It’s not like you’re legs are going to break. Shut up and let me sit. Hmph!” replied Xiang and rested his head on his shoulders.

“Xiang, do you want to meet my mom and sister?”

“Really? Can I?”

“I was going to go today. Do you want to tag in?”

“Count me in! But didn’t you say you had something to do?”

“I asked Han li to take care of it.”

“You really trust him.”

“Yes. He’s a diligent person. Anyway, wanna go after lunch?”

“Sure thing!”
