Main characters POV

I have nothing but praises about the Eragon's body. Even after hundreds of spears tried and hurt him from inside his body none of them succeeded. They were just too weak or he was just too strong. It doesn't matter really because Eragon is already on the deaths door.

Most of his mana inside his body was used to conjure spears and now he had almost no mana left to support him. The surrounding mana was just too little to support him too because it was used in the battle. Because of the Eragon's frequent use of fire breath and my lighting attacks the surrounding mana became too thin to support such a strong individual like Eragon. This battle clearly showed the greatest weakness of warriors. When no mana was left to support you, no matter how strong your body us, you will still lose.

I looked at Eragon and said, "Eragon the king of dragons! Your death is near, after an hour or so you will die. If you want I can help you and end your life right now. If you die like this you will experience great agony!" Having no mana is like having no oxygen. Eragon would experience the feeling of being slowly choked and die in agony. I don't want to see that sorry sight so I gave him a choice.

Eragon looked at me and asked, "My foe, can you tell me something before my death?"

"You can ask me any question you want!" I answered

Eragon smiled and asked, "Did I become stronger than I was before?"

I didn't know why he would ask such an obvious question but I answered him, "Yes, you've become far stronger than the first time I met you! But are you sure you really want this to be your last request?"

Eragon smiled and said, "You may think answer to my question is obvious and I'm just wasting my last wish but this answer holds deep meaning to me! I tried so hard to be stronger and gain more power but even after so much time I never truly understood if I become stronger. Sometimes it's really hard to judge if you became stronger because you may think you advanced when actually you're falling. You acknowledging my strength means that I did succeed. I became stronger so there's still a chance. If I became stronger then my children too would someday. I can't beat you but my heirs would succeed in what I failed!" After saying that he started to stand up.

With great difficulty he stood up and roared towards the skies. At the same time I saw something amazing. The gigantic dragon started to shrink. Slowly his body started getting smaller and smaller. I didn't know how he did that but in five minutes gigantic dragon became as big as a normal salamander which was as big as normal a.d.u.l.t. Only difference between it and salamander was those wings on its back and darker and more profound scales.

The small version of the Eragon looked at me and said, "I have..... lost! ....I made many terrible mistakes... but my young would be better than me!...They will not follow a wrong road this time!" It was hard for him to even talk because he had almost no mana left. He tried saying something but he stopped and looked at my back. I turned my head around and saw Arthur standing running towards us.

He was running towards us. When he was near me I touched his shoulder and said, "Arthur I'm sorry but I can't let you get closer to him!" He was already at the death door. His metamorphosis used up all his mana and I can't let him experience such a disgrace. In his condition Eragon could even lose to Arthur and I really don't want that. He who is so strong it would be a disgrace and the terrible way to die.

I didn't let Arthur go to Eragon but dragon king himself came before us. Looking at Arthur he said, "I remember you .....the heir of Uther! I... searched for you.... I'm sorry.....Uther gave me so much... but I... don't have anything to give him. Heir of Uther..... I leave my.... body to you..... After..... my death..... my body would be.... useless... but.... but my bones...could help you.....I'm sorry... but this is... the only..... thing..... I can.... give you!" after Eragon said that he closed his eyes and fell on the ground.

Arthur was confused and so was I. None of us knew what to do. When I was about to regain my composure something more terrifying happened. The Eragon's body which was full of life(his body was intact) started to be mummified. As if all water was drained from it. After his body was mummified his body started to break down leaving only his bones. When all that happened I caught a glimpse of three rays of light exiting Eragon's body and going towards the dragon kingdom.

Judas's POV

I led the king inside the Eragon's cave using my alternate. It took me many years but I did succeed in making one.

I looked at the room and the first thing that caught my sight was of course it. The three gigantic eggs. They were no normal eggs because they were Draconic eggs.
