Overcoming The Beast

The scythe flew into the same spot the Icy Dream Hellion was. It grew and got stuck on its skin. The Sealing formation activated putting causing a cry to go through the darkness. Before Leon and the chimera knew it they were back on the snowy plain. Leon pulled the chain.

On the scythe was a small monster of a purple and Black body. It had eight tentacles and was wrapped up in a ball. It's eyes closed and a tear could be seen coming out if it's eyes.

"This is the Icy Dream Hellion." Leon took the scythe out and held the beast tightly to his c.h.e.s.t. He kept away the chain and started to walk.

The chimera remained vigilant and wondered why Leon wasn't taking any precautions.

"This beast is actually very weak when young." Leon said as he looked at the cute beast curled up.

"The only problem people have on capturing it is because of its parent that will guard it until it grows strong enough." The chimera said it understood, then asked where is the parent.

"I told you why the Devil's Tundra is called by its name right?"

The chimera answered with the deep holes in it.

"Under this whole plain is its parent. All the other holes are made from it. We were lucky as the parent seems to be hibernating for some reason. So let's stop testing our luck and leave quickly."

Leon started run while the chimera ran in the air following with the Black lotus.

After leaving the tundra, Leon and the chimera set up a fire and sat down. The Icy Dream Hellion slept in Leon's arms.

This Icy Dream Hellion had never fought anything before it seems it has just been asleep for all its life. It still is a seven voidstar beast and has the cultivation of five orangestar which is a bit lower than I expected.

This beast was something Leon had heard about when walking around. It had been found by the Mystic Ice Sect. They had given it out as a prize to the winner of the yearly competiiton. News spread an even other continents knew that a seven voidstar beast was given as a prize. And it was such a unique one at that.

At the time Leon didn't have time to look into it to much but later he had gained an interest in Dream beast so he learned about the Icy Dream Hellion in a lot more detail. Unlike most other Dream Beast it was the more known type.

When it grows to an a.d.u.l.t it becomes of the most feared beast in the world. It could send enemies into an imaginary world in the blink of an eye. It mainly used abilities to hypnotize enemies and lock them in a state of sleep forever.

The parent that was hibernating had used Its dream energy to form a way to protect its child. It had formed a web of dream energy that would trap anyone walking in the tundra into a Dream World. As they roamed the Dream world their body would freeze to death.

This is why Leon had moved around so much during his time entering the tundra. He couldn't sense the web. What he used to move around was his knowledge on an Icy Dream Hellion's Dream Catcher Web pattern that he learned through research in his previous life.

"Let's fuse the two of you together." Leon said as he looked at the chimera.

The chimera nodded and was ready for this. It was finally going to be free of this pain of that Eternal Sleep rune.

Leon drew the formation. A little different now. He decided to add a strengthening formation for that Icy Dream Hellion beast. So It would not be devoured by that sin energy.

Leon placed the Small octopus ball next to the Small Chimera. He started the formation. This was similar to that four formations he had used in previous fusions. The runic circles of Fusion, control, compatibility and absorption. With the extra Beast Steenthing formation.

Leon took out the Icy Crystal Liquid. He still hadn't finished it as he had saved some for the Chimera. Although at the Ice Continent its value tripled because of the high need of rare ice materials. It was still better to use it on his beast.

The egg formed around the beast. Leon poured the Icy Crystal Liquid onto that absorption formation. The formation grew bigger. Leon kept his hand on the control formation and cultivated the Mystic Ice art as he watched over that evolution.

After he had formed the NetherWorld Sealing Chains rune he had not started cultivating again. Since he planned on entering the Mystic Ice Sect he had to cultivate a little of an Ice art.

Thinking of arts Leon remembered the books he stuffed into his spatial ring while leaving. He planned to check them back at the inn, by then the Blood Sparrow should also be healed.

All the energy was torrenting down to the egg. In such an abundance of energy the evolution went smoothly. The Evil element did try to destroy the Dream element but Leon controlled the evolution and formed runes or seal it away for a while.

The Icy Dream Hellion was a beast of the Ice and Dream Element. It had the abilities Dream Catcher, Dream Wanderer, Dream Seal, Ice Lock, Shadow Tentacles and Absolute Sleep.

After swimmingly going through the fusion of the two beast. Leon made sure to allow it to absorb as much as ice energy as he could let it. He planned on chimera having three elements. The Dream, Ice and Evil. Although there would be disagreement because of the chaos element. As there were only three elements it should be fine.

"I need to find a solution to control the chaos element in the chimera so things don't get to put of proportions."

The egg finally lit up with a golden fire. Leon could see it was the Eternal Sleep rune. It took a few seconds and the rune shattered as the egg hatched.

A Similar to before sized small tiger like beast landed on its feet. The gray fur had lightened to a white with light gray stripes. It's eyes had transformed into a purple. The snake head also floated above the tiger head. It's scales had turned into a dark purple seperating it from the rest of the body. The Nightmare goat head also awakened. It had the white and gray fur. It's eyes also a purple. It's small stubs for horns had grown longer and turned a dark purple similar to the snake scales.

There were no traces of the Octopus seen on the chimera. Leon walked up and held it in his arms.

"The Eternal Sleep rune is gone. You've transformed again. You were becoming a complete wrath beast but now it's changed again. Now your becoming a pride Beast."

Leon said as he looked at the energy surrounding the beast and it's eyes glared at Leon to let it go on the floor.

Leon put it down. The chimera nodded and jumped into the air. The black circle formsled and lotus appear. These ones had more depth as they even had hints of purple and gray mixed in. The chimera stood at eye level to Leon and walked next to him.

"So what abilities do you know."

The chimera nodded saying it knew a few now other then then Lotus Steps.

It roared and Black tentacles shot out from the shadow on the ground. The tentacles sank back in. The chimera then had all eyes face Leon. All eyes had black rings in them. The surrounding had a pulse of purple spread out into the horizon.

Leon looked around he nodded at the ability. They were good. Finally the chimera transformed into. It grew bigger and became a clone of Leon.

"You learned transformation as well! I was already impressed with shadow tentacles and Absolute Sleep."

Absolute Sleep was the purple pulse spreading out. It was an ability that forced all being to enter a dream world. However that effect it had on all of them was different. It would be weak to stronger beast. They would be able to break out. While weak beast would have no way to escape.

The chimera nodded. Transformed as Leon it snapped its fingers causing a crack to spread out in reality. Soon It shattered to release them in the real world.

The chimera then shrunk back to its original shape. The Snake tail hissed and said it had an ability. It opened its mouth and a Ray from frost shot out.

"Frost Ray that's great." Leon wasn't patronising them as he needed a frost ability when he entered the Mystic Ice Sect.

The Goat head also bleated. Between its horns energy condensed to form a gray orb. The orb then shot out a beam of energy, the beam moved to form an arc in the snow.

"That's Diabolic Beam. An evil element ability." Leon was impressed.

All the Chimera heads spoke together to tell Leon that those were all its abilities.
