... Of all the organizations on the list, I feel that there are just 2 options here."

Z paused before continuing his explanation

"This organization specialized in the trafficking of children, they would sell the children to the highest bidder and thus make huge amounts of profits. The second option is this organization that is specifically against the church, they are practically heretics, but honestly, they may be heretics but they won't resort to kidnapping children. Therefore it rounds down our choices to just this organization and if they deal with them, they will probably only take one route."

"That's a good analysis and all but..."

Before Arel could complete his sentence he was cut off by Z who continued his explanation.

"There might be a chance there are new players involved and the kidnapping of the children are done on behalf of them, but honestly there is a huge risk involved when it comes to assaulting the church and the Snake Fang Gang probably wouldn't take the risk if they did not trust the new player. Therefore our best bet is for us to intercept them on this route and take them"

Z finished his sentence as he reached in his satchel and pulled out 2 pieces of smoked meat, tossing it over to Odrunn as well.

"That might be a viable plan, but there are costs involved, I don't think it is worth it to sacrifice guards just for a few kids, it isn't viable at all."

Arel continued his analysis, he was naturally averted to risk and wouldn't take that kind of risk to save a few kids. That was why he was the aide to Daymas, his calmness and critical thinking are what led Daymas to multiple victories.

Soli puffed up her cheeks and was upset at the whole issue, even if they had been through school and training, one had to understand that Soli was after all still a child and at 15 years old, their appetite for risk is higher, much like a newborn deer not understanding the prowess of a lion. Daymas was at the middle of the crossroads, he didn't want to let Soli down and save the children, but at the same time what Arel said about it being too high risk was also true. He stroked his chin and started to think for a bit before finally speaking up.

"I have an idea. Since the route has already been predetermined, and since Soli is also determined, why don't I bring Soli and the boys to intercept them en-route. Once we intercept them we can fight them and access their abilities, it's just a delivery and I don't think they will be using a lot of manpower here."

Arel looked up opening his mouth before closing it again, looking like he was about to say something but was hesitant to say it. After a short pause, he finally decided what he was going to say.

"Okay, but Zeno and I are coming with you. It's better to have more people involved in the fight. At the very least you won't be alone when the fighting begins."

"Wait... he has us, right? why is he fighting alone?"

Odrunn who had been silent finally spoke up, he was upset that the fruits of his labour had just been treated as if it was nothing and even after he had gone stronger Arel just disregarded him completely.

"Well... I don't mean any offence, but the people we are up against will be at the tank level at a minimum, even if you are at a tank level too, your battle experience are still lacking compared to these people who put their lives on the line every day."

Arel said matter of factly.

Odrunn could only frown as he swallowed his anger.

"Arel, contact the scout camping at the base, ask him for information about the Snake Fang Gang."

Arel immediately got on his Commswatch and contacted the scout, after some intense nodding, Arel had gotten the situation down.

"Boss, it seems that we're in luck, they told me they saw a shipment going out of the base with kids in the back."

"Wait... how does your scout know that there are children in the back?"

Z asked with a hint of confusion in his face.

"Our scout is selected from the cream of the crop, his manifest is X-ray vision and making use of that he has a fully unrestricted view into their base, just that he is short-sighted so he needs spectacles and a pair of binoculars to actually spy properly. Other than that he is a fine scout that we had recruited early on."

Z nodded in agreement, it would be short-sighted to neglect the importance of having support especially one whose manifest allowed him to peer deep into the enemy's territory.

"So we've decided on the plan? let me get the guards to send the children and the sister to our estate for them to rest for now. I'll meet all of you at the transport artefact, Arel, you know the route, so you're sitting in front. The rest can squeeze at the back, it is a 6 seater but Odrunn and Zeno, both of you are a bit large, so it will be kind of squeezy."

Once he settled giving the instructions, Daymas went straight towards the transport artefact. Everyone had already entered the vehicle and were prepared to go. Daymas started the engine of the transport artefact, it roared loudly as a dim glow came from within the engine compartment. With a burst of speed, the transport artefact zoomed across the road cutting through the forest as it sped off into the distance.

Although the artefact was moving at an extremely fast speed, none of the people inside was feeling nauseous, it was a testament to how smoothly Daymas was driving. With great speed, he managed to see the large transport artefact in front of him. Accelerating faster, he managed to catch up to the side of the large transport artefact.
