Reincarnation: The Strongest Monster

It was noon when Lux woke up, the sun shone on his black scales making him feel really comfortable. He strechted himself a little bit and noticed that he grew to approximately 5m in lenght and 2m in height. Lux really wanted to know what he looked like but there were no mirrors here. It was a forest after all and in most forests are no mirrors hanging around. So Lux decided to go to the lake later to admire himself. Yes maybe he was a narcist but he didn't care and his baby form looked really cute.

He stood up walked out of his home a little bit sluggish and made himself familiar with his new body.

"Ah f.u.c.k it" Lux exclaimed "I'm gonna go now".

He made his way to the nearest lake ready to watch himself. Maybe he was a little bit careless but nothing attacked him after he lost his baby smell.

When he arrived he looked at himself in the mirroing picture of the lake. His black scales still a little gray and dull in his baby form were now dark like the night and sparkled extremely beautiful when the light of the sun touched them. Lux eyes were deep blue as the sea when you were looking at them you felt like they could see right through your soul. His claws although a little muddy were shining white each at a minimum 30 cm long when extended completely and his dark wings grew a lot to a wingspan almost as long as his body if you exclude his tail.Lux guessed that maybe he couldn't fly yet but he could glide if he jumped of a high place something like a cliff. His tail which was 2m long and sharp like a knife twitched excited while he was watching his picture completely loosing himself in the beautiful sight the water showed him.

Unaware of the danger that approached him. He noticed a dark shadow in the water which was charging into him. He jumped to the side to avoid the attack but it was to late and he was still hit although not with the dangerous horn that would have killed him immediatly but with the shoulder of the rabbit.

He still flew a few metres away and was remembered of the hit with the bus so much did it hurt. Lux body was lot tougher now so after rolling a little he jumped onto his feet and glared at one of his old enemies a Tank Rabbit. It was bigger than the other rabbits Lux fought before so he assumed that it was an elder Rabbit who was angered by the death of his conspecifics and it didn't look insane at all only furious. The rabbit stormed again in the direction of Lux with a breathtaking speed but Lux was ready altough a little surprised by the speed his enemy showed and managed to jump out of the way counterattacking with his tail and getting a good hit on the rabbits flank. He aimed for the joints the only weak point he can reach but it's speed was too much for him so he only hit the flank. Surprisingly it managed to penetrate the armor and cutting a tiny flesh wound. The rabbit wasn't hurt at all but got more furious. It charged again Lux jumped again ready to attack the rabbits joints but this time the rabbit anticipated his jump and changed his direction penetrating right trough his left shoulder.

Lux roared in pain and struggled to get free but that only made the pain worse and Lux almost blacked out cause he never experienced such great pain before. With his last energy he pushed himself off the horn landing right in front off the deep lake with nearly no energy left. The rabbit obviously didn't care and stormed at Lux again. Lux wanted to survive but he knew that there was little chance. Still he pushed himself up read to face death with pride at least and watched the rabbit charging on him.

The same stubborn trait that showed up while he was hunted by the wolf showed itself again but this time there was no hawk or something else to save him. But he didn't want to give up struggle till his last breath so he tried one last desperate move. Lux waited until the rabbit almost hit him and let himself drop to the ground to let the Furios attacker fall over him. His plan worked, although only half, the rabbit tripped over and fell head over into the water where it sank straight to the ground due to its extrem weight but it also kicked Lux while tripping over him sending him straight into the water.

Lux coughed some blood and feeled his now heavily injured inner organs after the kick which had a massive amount of strenght namely the whole force of the charge in it. He felt his life declining and struggled to stay awake while he sank deep down just like the rabbit. Luckily he was a beast not a human anymore and a lot stronger than a human too so he could easily stay underwater for over 20 min but it was questionable if he could survive that long with this grave injuries.

He was at least a 100 meters under the surface and he still couldn't see any ground. The size of the lake was gigantic, some would even say it was a freshwater sea as it was bigger than some small kingdoms so there were living gigantic creatures in it. And thats what happened. An eye as big as Lux opened near him and stared at him.

It looked like it was trying to find if Lux was worthy of its attention and if hes delicious enough to be eaten. Suddelny he felt that he was pushed upwards and he catched a glimpse of the size of the sea monster. It was at least 1km long and looked like an oversized whale. He was pushed upwards faster than he could think and screamed in terror and pain his mind completely corroded. Finally he succ.u.mbed to the darkness and fainted. It was a wonder how he managed to stay awake for such a long time. The last thing he saw that he landed on a beach.
