Trials Of Love: The Romantic Goddess

Chapter 5 - Trying To Achieve The Best First Impression

So, abruptly, I could clearly see a certain kind of light disappear from inside her eyes which I recognized and understood very clearly since that was… the light of life!

At the same time as the light disappeared, in despair, unknown as if to whether she was talking to the thin air or that the target of her words was herself, she began to begrudgingly mutter, "Life is too cruel… after these many years of no color and no love existing in my life… for the first time… I had finally… sob, but now… sigh, sob."

With that, the light of life had disappeared entirely from her eyes as she sank into the deepest abyss of despair, she no longer wanted to live. However, she didn't forget to take one last look at the dead corpse of the love of her life as she once again hugged him with a great amount of power like she wanted to etch this feeling forever inside her heart, she gently kissed his forehead once for one last time before she began whispering into his ears, "I'm truly sorry Kay… but I don't want to stay and live in a world that has no 'you' in it… not even for a second. I'm coming to you right now… I hope there's truly a heaven where I would be able to meet you again… no, even a hell is fine as long as you're in it…' Taking out a queer blade which was made out of a strange kind of stone which none of you have probably ever seen, she took a final deep glance at him again before stabbing it directly into her own heart.

As the blade pierced through her heart, while her heart was bleeding like crazy, she fell on the c.h.e.s.t of the person she came to call her love, as she closed her eyes with a somewhat happy smile hanging from her face before the last thought in this life of hers passed through her mind, 'I'm going to meet you soon, my love.'

Sigh… so, the situation happening in front of me… as you can see… is the first case of love I had started… however, sigh… I don't know how it came to this… I just decided to put a little trial in front of them in order to test their love for a little bit… truly.

I thought she would arrive in time just to save the male in distress… but, urghhh… who could've thought she would be late by a bit!

The thing which pains me and makes me feel kinda guilty is that the girl was supposed to live a long life prior to meeting that man, but, I made a decision to interfere and put the two on each other's path nonetheless as my first targets.

What makes me even more guilty is that the man was recognized as having cancer just recently, so he was going to die soon unless…

"Ahhhhhhh…" Messing around my beautiful hair in a cute way, I screamed in a frustrated fashion as I continued, "I should've at least run a background check on him before putting him on her path…"

Anyhow, since I'm truly feeling responsible and guilty about it, which believe me, is a rare thing… and since I'm just about to choose my next target… let me do something that's a little special.

As this thought passed through my head, out of thin air, I appeared beside the corpse of the awfully irresistible woman as I grabbed the thin air above her corpse.

Nothing happened for a while, but wait for it, since I'm not doing this just to mess around with you…

A few seconds later, just as I had promised, something popped into existence in my line of sight… a white light, which was obviously the soul of that particular unlucky girl.

Without waiting for her to come to herself, grabbing her soul, I opened a crack on the air as I entered a white space which I had created randomly in the past…

After I arrived inside the space, before anything, I made a gigantic white throne which was made out of millions of sword appear in front of me as I sat on it before finally willing the woman in front of me to regain her consciousness.

Opening her eyes, she began looking around in utter confusion for a while, when eventually, her wits also returned to her.

So, looking at me and the throne I was sitting on, she seemed to be significantly shocked and even confused as fear began to fill her up as her gaze landed on the Goddess in front of her.

"Calm down, my creation, there's nothing to be afraid of. You are at the presence of your creator, God, me, to be more exact." I proclaimed, trying my best to give the best first impression I can… as I tried my best to transmit the majesty a God should have, hehe.
