Water World Cultivation

After Leo witnessed the ship, the gears of time went to work and the days flew by. Most days were uneventful except some were he met new faces.

Other than that he continued his secret cultivation and magic improvement.

More than eight months have passed by and Leo was about a year old. His birthday passed by, it wasn't celebrated. It seemed that birthdays have lost their meaning in this future.

Leo can also walk now but he has to do it wobbly so it's not suspicious. He does not know if the other people in the community of the towers are superstitious or not.

A year old baby walking like a normal person would be taken as the devil's incarnate in this post apocalyptic world.

The seasons of this part of the world don't change so the weather is rather constant.

Another thing Leo witnessed was firearms. His father, John carries a handgun with him and also keeps another hidden beneath the bed.

Leo also reached the bottleneck of Child-Mariner, his meridians are very large now. So, all he needs to do is capture a lot of water magic particles since he uses Ye's Aqua Theory.

After that, his body will go through some changes to compliment the theory. Since there were not any records of an actual child doing this, Leo is unsure of what will happen.

It's afternoon, Leo is laying down on his crib. His Granny is also in the room reciting some sort of religious book.

Leo was busy thinking of ways to have fun. Being a baby in a crib is quite boring not to mention there no such thing as entertainment as TV's, a commodity from the past does not work anymore.

So it was quite boring for Leo.

Leo wasn't surprised. He reached a bottleneck so his progression was going to be slowed down inevitably.

After that, he continued to rattle his mind for fun ideas.

He thought of a spell to experience the world outside. Taming. Taming is a spell that works on animals and beasts. All you need is the spell and right type of foundation and animal.

Since Leo's foundation is a water type, it would be easy for him to tame an animal that has high water affinity or is related to water.

Leo hasn't really tried any other spell in the past year because his magic range wasn't that big and he didn't really need to use any other spells.

His training was fulfilled by his Cultivation, Stats, Unluck Spell (I gave the luck restriction spell a name) and the occasional Cool Down.

There was no need for other spells. Also not to mention the fact that he was in the ocean so big spells might have unwanted outcomes.

Granny Mio finished reading her religious book and prayed

"God, I hope you keep all my descendents safe."

That is the only audible sentence Leo heard.

After that Granny came over to leo, gave him a kiss on the cheeks and looked at him.

Leo: "Gam!"

Leo tried acting like a baby and said what he thought a baby would say.

Granny Mio: How cute! You're trying to say granny aren'tcha?

Mia comes in says

Mia: Granny they're looking for you the meeting is about to start!

Granny: Sigh... Yes dear, let's go.

Leo is again left to his own devices. He assumes that Granny is a community elder or something.

Nevertheless, Leo starts his taming magic. He protrudes magic particles in a string manner and leads it out the room through the window, through the holes, and, finally out to the open waters.

There he searches through the shores of the building to find a seagull.

The 'Taming' spell connects the tamer and his tamed companion and share senses between the two, however, only at the will of the tamer.

Leo's current method of taming was one of kind. Manipulating magic particles in a string like manner would take decades of magic control training.

Even a high-level magician won't be able to it. This is true in this world and his 2nd world.

After blindly searching with his magic cord for an hour, it finally touches a bird. Not a seagull but a shorebird. Leo quickly encapsulates the bird with magic.

The bird feels immense pressure and tries to fly away but is unable to move. This is rather obvious as Leo with hid current strength, can take on a dozen large walruses.

That's only with his cultivation but with magic, he could probably rule over a hundred of them. But Leo is modest and walruses are hard to find.

Cultivation uses magic particles inefficiently but enlarges the meridians so a person can hold more particles.

Magic uses magic particles present outside the body but can also use inner particles stored through cultivation and does so very efficiently.

So its defeat was rather predetermined. Leo controlled the bird by applying magic pressure in a direction and by changing magnitude of magic.

The bird starts moving in the instructed way and after a while, it reached Leo's room. Some people saw the bird but ignored it because it was not uncommon to see a bird in the building.

The bird jumped on to the window sill and then flew to the rails of the crib. As soon as it saw Leo, it knew that it met the master behind the mystical pressure it was feeling.

It jumps into the crib and bows towards Leo. Once a beast is subjugated and it itself wants to surrenders and submit, then, and only then can a permanent taming bond can be established.

There are other ways to do it but, for Leo this is the fastest way.

Leo releases a special magic particle called the essence particle, which is unique and different per person.

The essence particle injects itself into the bird. The shorebird starts glowing while it is crouched in front of Leo.

The bird is going through spiritualization.
