Worlds Conquering Necromancer

Chapter 30 - The Departure

"Guys, no word about what happened here to the outside, got it?" Emily instructed her companions while climbing steps towards the previous floor.

"We understand!" they said, the boys nodding frantically. 'As if we would risk to go through it ourselves...'

"Well then, we've got a lot of new friends on this expedition. We must further expand the farming and living grounds at Cavetown to accommodate them. Though, I'd like to leave a part of them in the dungeon, but because I changed its environment, there will appear new unknown monsters, that would presumably attack the orcs and goblins at first sight." she said to herself.

"Master, the new monsters won't spawn near the settlements with high population. Even if they will attack us, we would be under the defense of the walls." said Urul, beaming with confidence.

"And what are you going to eat then? Cannibalism is a big 'no', and as I understand you can't really grow anything in the dungeon. Even more, in case someone attacks Cavetown and the dungeon just recently restarted, you won't be able to send any reinforcements at all."

Urul understood what his master talked about. He thought about any ways to change this situation, only to reach the conclusion that the best choice would be to move all the population to Cavetown. "Master, could you leave me the preparations for departure to the surface? I'll show you my competence in governing such a huge number of subordinates..." He said, scratching the back of his head.

'It's true that I want to understand his abilities, and it will serve as another test to understand his true feelings about me and my people.'

"Allright, you will be responsible for the relocation plan then. Let's go back as soon as possible, we left Cavetown in a nearly defenseless state for too long..."

Once they reached the upper floor, Urul started to prepare everything for the departure. Meanwhile, Emily and her other forces destroyed the walls and buildings from the previous empire. 'It would be terrible if some powerful monsters would occupy it in the future, and we would have to conquer them.' Emily sent some scouts forward, to prepare everything for the new citizens.

They were ready to depart in an hour, with everything they needed packed and the stronghold destroyed. On the way to the surface nothing new happened, and they arrived in an hour because of their numbers. The first thing Emily saw when she arrived was the worried face of Ramiya, with the other adventurers, generals and executives behind her.

Ramiya rushed towards Emily and hugged her, with her eyes tearing. "I missed you so much... Don't leave without me for this long ever again..." she murmured to herself, thinking that Emily wouldn't hear. Though, Emily was a vampire with exceptional hearing and other senses, so she heard her every word.

"It's all right, I'm already here. I promise I'll take you with me next time." Emily said, as if calming down a child that was far from her mother for too long. The others around them started to whisper about this scene, especially the newcomers.

"So this is master's future wife you talked about, Baz?" asked Urul inspecting Emily and Ram.

"Yeah, I said we have no chance to enter her vision. She was the master's fifth companion and is very close to her. Even more, we ones saw her spending the night in master's room. I guess you don't need further explanations." Everyone's eyes widened in surprise when they heard that.

'So their relationship advanced this far!' they thought. 'We've got no chance to interfere then...'

Unknown to others, the guys present at the cyclops battle thought, 'Does master have something against boys? Not only is she close with another girl, even her shot back then...' They will remember that fight for the rest of their lives, and will try to not make her angry, ever.

After Ram calmed down a bit, Emily asked her about the general situation. "Has anything happened while we were in the dungeon?"

"No..." she said, wiping her tears away, "We've got some news from the spies all around the kingdom. They said they tried to negotiate with all their supposed targets. Around half of them accepted our proposal."

"Good. Let's try to evolve the new orcs and other soldiers under level 10, then we'll think about it in detail." She said, patting Ram's head.

*Pat! Pat!

'Fufufu~ Emily became closer to me...' she thought, while everyone around were fascinated by that scene. A loli patting the head of another, older loli. It was way too sweet...

"All right, time to get to work, guys. I understand you just moved, but there are some things that need to be done. First of all, let's get the earth mages to expand our territory and walls, then help you build your houses." Emily said to her new subordinates.

"We need to get the new children included into the educational courses, then comes the courses for newcomers and military and farming training. Maybe some fortifications for the walls..."

With the coming of new people, everything started to change. Cavetown expanded a lot, appeared new things such as the hot baths powered by water and fire mages, and the cultivation lot got expanded again, this time with new seeds bought by Elise and her adventurers' squad. Also, Emily resurrected some corpses from her inventory.

Before resurrecting him, Emily required the help of some men to attach the cyclops' balls back. Though, it didn't really help.

Title "Natus ex verecundiam": If the creature goes through shameful enough things before dying, it will gain this title after being resurrected. Even after resurrection, the creature won't be able to live normally. The creature's XP gain is halved. Possibly some individual changes.

"Your name will be Cast... Welcome to the family!" 'Poor boy...'

"Master, why do I have such a title?" he asked bewildered after he checked his stats.

"The thing is... You've died in a very painful way, so that's why you have it... But don't worry, you're still one of us."

"Thank you, master. You really care 'bout me..." said Cast with a thankful tone.

'I'm really sorry, Cast. Blame the previous "you" for what happened...'
